Sharing a bond with an animal can be neurologically rewarding. There are many mental health benefits that can come out of connecting with animals, whether it be through pet ownership or engaging in animal assistance therapy (AAT).


In Adair Winder's article on Baxta, Adair wrote about the numerous mental health benefits of pets. As a practitioner of AAT, I also had the opportunity to share how I have used AAT to help my clients.
